Orlando Flight School proudly presents EXPLORERS, a unique introductory aviation program created specifically for young people ages 14 to 18 who are curious about aviation, passionate about airplanes, or considering a future career as a professional pilot.
EXPLORERS is designed to provide students with an authentic introduction to the world of aviation through a combination of actual flight experience, aviation ground instruction, simulator training, and hands-on exposure to the pilot environment.
This is more than a flight.

5 HOURS OF FLIGHT TIME
Cessna 150/152
Experience the excitement of actual flight training in a Cessna 150/152 with professional flight instruction.
The program includes five hours of flight time, providing participants with meaningful exposure to the aircraft, the cockpit environment, and the fundamentals of flight.
Students will begin developing an understanding of what it means to operate an aircraft while experiencing the unique responsibility and excitement associated with aviation.

3 HOURS OF AVIATION GROUND SCHOOL
Because great pilots are built on knowledge.
Flying begins long before an aircraft leaves the runway.
EXPLORERS includes three hours of aviation ground instruction designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts that every pilot should understand.

The goal is to help students understand what happens in the cockpit and why, creating a stronger connection between their classroom learning and actual flight experience.
2 HOURS OF DUAL SIMULATOR TRAINING

The EXPLORERS experience also includes two hours of dual simulator training.
The simulator provides students with an opportunity to become familiar with cockpit procedures, aviation concepts, and flight scenarios in a controlled training environment.
Simulator sessions complement the actual flight experience and help students better understand the relationship between knowledge, procedures, decision-making, and aircraft control.
